About this entry:
The Elvish translation of the Adûnaic name Inziladûn, which was the name of King Tar-Palantir of Númenor before he acceded to the throne. The name followed the pattern of Inzilbéth his mother, and doubtless reflects her secret allegiance to the party of the Faithful: both Númellótë and Inziladûn mean 'Flower of the West'.
