Pippin Gamgee

A son of Sam Gamgee and Rose Cotton

The fifth child of Samwise Gamgee and Rose Cotton, and the third to be named after one of the Fellowship of the Ring (following his elder brothers Frodo and Merry). Pippin took his name from Peregrin Took, commonly known as 'Pippin', who at the time of his birth was heir to the Thainship of the Shire.
