Incomers

Before the Nirnaeth Arnoediad, the land of Hithlum had been held by Men of the House of Hador, but after that dreadful battle Morgoth gave it to the Easterlings who had aided him. These Incomers (as the native Men of the land called their cruel new lords) oppressed the People of Hador who remained, taking their lands and their goods. The chief lord of the Incomers seems to have been a man named Lorgan, who dwelt in the western part of the land, while the southern region, where the lords of Hithlum had dwelt before the Nirnaeth, was held by a chieftain named Brodda.
