A poetic title given to the ruler of the Elves of Nargothrond, whose citadel was carved from the rocks beneath the High Faroth on the River Narog. The first Lord of Narog was Finrod Felagund the founder of Nargothrond, and after his loss his brother Orodreth ruled in his stead.
