The Mannish name for the region known as Anfalas in Elvish; a long strip of coastland running for more than three hundred miles, from the River Lefnui in the west to the Blackroot (or Morthond) in the east. It was a rural land, occupied for the most part by hunters and fishers who lived in small villages along the shorelands.
