Kalimac Brandagamba

The true name of Meriadoc Brandybuck

(At least one
unnamed son)

All the members of Kalimac's (or Merry's) family would have had equivalent Hobbit-names, but for the most part these are unknown. His father would have had the surname Brandagamba (translated 'Brandybuck') but the original form of his given name 'Saradoc' is not recorded.

The actual form of the Hobbit name anglicised by Tolkien as 'Meriadoc Brandybuck'.
