Kings of Gondor

The thirtieth King of Gondor, son of Narmacil II. Calimehtar is most famous for his defeat of the Wainriders on the plain of Dagorlad. He was succeeded by his son, Ondoher.

Notes

1

The date of Calimehtar's birth appears only in The History of Middle-earth volume XII, The Peoples of Middle-earth. It cannot therefore be considered completely reliable.

2

After Calimehtar's time, his son Ondoher died in battle with both his heirs. In the same battle, Ondoher's nephew Minohtar was also lost; he was a grandson of Calimehtar through an unnamed daughter.
