The daughter, and only child, of Falco Chubb-Baggins. She married Filibert Bolger, and thereby brought the family name of Chubb-Baggins (derived from her grandparents Chica Chubb and Bingo Baggins) to an end. Her grandfather Bingo was an uncle of Bilbo Baggins, making Poppy Bilbo's first cousin, once removed.

We're given only a date of birth for Poppy, so we can't be sure exactly how long she lived. She certainly survived until III 3001 (SR 1401), because she is recorded as attending Bilbo Baggins' Birthday Party in that year. She would have been 57 years old at that time, and if she lived a typical Hobbit lifespan she would have seen the War of the Ring and likely survived for some decades afterward.
