Guard of the Tower of Gondor

The élite guard of Minas Tirith

The Guard of Minas Tirith consisted of at least three companies of the fighting Men of Gondor. The soldiers of the Guard, whose uniforms were black emblazoned with silver, were among the most respected of the Men of Gondor.
