An occasional term used as a simple poetic equivalent of 'Elves'. It seems to have been used especially by the Mortal races of Arda (at least, no Elves ever refer to themselves as belonging to the 'Elven-folk'). The term also occasionally appears spelt as 'Elvenfolk', with identical meaning. For acknowledgements and references, see the Disclaimer & Bibliography page.
