The singular form of Noldor, referring to one of the Deep Elves who followed Finwë on the Great Journey, or to one of their descendants. The term is occasionally used as a title or form of address in its own right: for example, when Finwë's son Fëanor pondered the breaking of the Silmarils, Tulkas demanded of him, 'Speak, O Noldo, yea or nay!' (Quenta Silmarillion 9, The Flight of the Noldor).
