Aduial

The dim light of evening

The Sindarin name, literally meaning 'second twilight', for the dusk of evening. This corresponded to Quenya undómë, and was called evendim by the Shire-hobbits. The -uial element, meaning 'twilight', appears in the names Emyn Uial and Nenuial. The Common Speech forms of these names used the Shire translation, and are rendered as the Hills of Evendim and Lake Evendim, respectively.
