NotesPart of the Sword of Orion, the Hatysa system contains four stars. At its heart is a binary system composed of two hot giant stars, with two other stars pursuing more distant orbits around them. The entire system forms part of the nebulous open cluster sometimes called the Lost Jewel of Orion, and designated NGC 1980.
