Notes	Eta Cygni is positioned approximately halfway between the brighter stars Sadr and Albireo in the prominent northern constellation of Cygnus the Swan. The primary star is an ancient orange giant, with a red dwarf companion making this a binary system. Three other stars lie close by in the sky, but these are optical companions and not physically associated with Eta Cygni itself.
