Southward and eastward from Mu Piscis Austrini is another whitestar, HR 8437. The two stars are similar in many ways, but HR 8437 is approximately twice as far from the Sun as Mu Piscis Austrini, and so appears distinctly fainter in the sky. Imagery provided by Aladin sky atlas
