Collinder 62 is a diffuse open cluster in Auriga, southward of Capella. Note that the brightest star seen here, white HR 1760, is not a member of the cluster, but a foreground star lying considerably closer to the Sun. Imagery provided by Aladin sky atlas

An open star cluster in the constellation of Auriga, about five degrees southward of Capella on the central axis of the Milky Way. At just over half a degree, its apparent diameter in the sky is comparable with that of the Moon.
