Notes	A narrow, straight valley that cuts directly through the mountains of the Montes Alpes, dividing that range into two parts and connecting the seas of Mare Imbrium to the south and Mare Frigoris to the north. A long thin rille marks a faultline running along the floor of the valley from one end to the other.
