The pair of coloured dots, orange and blue, towards the west (right) of this image represent the white dwarfMaru or WD 0806-661, Ahra's parent body. Ahra itself pursues a wide orbit around this star with a semi-major axis of 2,500 AU (more than eighty times the distance of Neptune from the Sun).
