An evolvedgiantstar, Delta Leporis has either exhausted its reserves of hydrogen, or is in the process of doing so and beginning to fuse helium in its core. This process has caused it to expand to some ten times the Sun'sdiameter, though its mass remains similar to that of the Sun.
