NotesOne of very few stars to be commonly identified by its number on the Gould system, 193 G. Sagittarii is a faint star, but nonetheless visible to the naked eye under ideal conditions. This binary system lies nearly three hundred light years from the Sun, appearing westward of the Terebellum asterism in the sky.

A binary system consisting of two massive orange (K-type) stars, about 280 light years from the Solar System. It falls within the boundaries of Sagittarius, and lies a little to the east of the Milk Dipper formation.
